Time is your most valuable resource
Time is one of the most valuable things in life, and in recruitment.
We all get the same hours in our day, so how we use it and what we prioritise is key to success.
Here are some hacks for managing time that have helped me are:
Set clear objectives.
In the morning or the day before, plan what you are going to do.
Set your tasks and make it absolutely clear what you want to achieve the next day.
Use time blocks.
Use your Outlook or Google calendar to block out your time.
Be disciplined in sticking to your timings so you know what you’re doing and when.
Take breaks.
Burnout is real, and as a business owner, you’ll have a million and one questions and decisions demanding your attention.
It’s important that you get some fresh air, get some steps in, and clear your head.
Balancing focussed work with regular breaks will keep you sharp and prevent you from feeling overwhelmed.
