If I had to do it all over again, I’d seek out someone who has nailed it and work for them for 5-10 years.  
 
If working for them isn’t an option, then I’d pay them to teach me how it’s done.   

Why?  

It gives you real-world insights. 

It opens a whole heap of networking opportunities.   

Surround yourself with success and you quickly progress.  

It's as simple as that.  
 
I've spent a lot of money on mentors and long will it continue.  

Get in the mindset that you can never know enough.  
 
Here are just a few things I have learnt over the years:  

• Sales is everything.  

•   Know your numbers.  

•   Recruit people who are better than you.  

•   Understand what motivates your team.  

•   Founders often impede progress.  

•   Allocate time for strategic thinking.  

•   Anything can be learned.  

•   Build resilience.  

•   Lead with enthusiasm.  

•   Consistently share your vision.
